Autistic son

I have a 13 year old autistic son. Now when he was small and very cute i could handle the situation but now that he's growing up and there is lots of changes in the development i think i'm faced with more challenges than him. I know that God comes through for me time and time again but just maybe i need to get much closer to him. Please pray for us.

Thank you Naomi and all the other ladies for these inspiring words to me. I just want to share a few things that's been taking place in our lives. Peter has been at hostel since the age of six and due to severe financial pressure I had to opt for having him at home. This means having to take and collect him daily. But the joy I see on his face is beautiful. He loves being at home. He goes with us to church during the week as well. He worships God.... seeing this uplifts my spirit. Janie, I have found a music school that is willing to try and tutor him on the drum kit. I'm so excited! Please keep on praying for us. God bless you and I love you all.

Charmaine, that is really great!!!! I am really happy for you. My son loves our place of worship also. He has some sensory issues but he love to be in the house of the Lord. His therapist was surprised because most autistic children don't enjoy services due to sensory. May God continue to bless you and your family and continue to send people across your path. His word says He will not put more on us than we can bear and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Again may God continue to bless you all!
