Exercise is something I've been meaning to do...but meaning to isn't good enough. I will start.
I love my Lesli Sansone videos...I just haven't popped them in. I have the time and I can find the time.
Also...just being more aware of what I put in to my body. My food, the amount of food (controlling my portion sizes)...
Those are a few things that are a great start for me.
The weather is getting better so I will try to go walking and try to keep busy on a daily basis, walking the halls at work. I have a severe need to watch my eating habits, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate is my weakness. I am thin but I want to continue to be healthy. Mind wise I like chatting online, especially with like minded people it keeps the mind clear. I also like to read in my spare time.
Leslie Sansone is she the one that does the weight watchers walking video....if so I like her too. I really like walking because I know I am doing it right. As far as I know you can't walk wrong.
She has a DVD series called "Walk Away the Pounds". It's somewhat similar to Weight Watchers, but with more of a Christian edge to it...though not totally.
She is a Christian and it reflects in her exercises and the way she connects. She seems so full of God and encouraging, so I feel REALLY inspired to walk right along with her and her team and never tire of the same DVD each time I pop it in.
I LOVE it!

The hardest thing for me to do in taking care of myself is remembering to REST ! There is so much I want to do, to see, to read, to learn. I get so caught up in things I sometimes can't turn my brain off enough to rest. There is nothing medically wrong with me..
So I am working on ways to relax, unwind and rest. Any ideas?
I usually take Sundays and kind of chill out, for some reason after Sunday morning worship I am not that energetic, we usually catch a movie and lay around. If not I will be off the rest of the week because I am just going and going.
Lynn I am the same way, I have to remember to turn my brain off. What usually works for me is to take a nature walk and listen to my gospel music.
Amages, Sunday morning worship is like going to the gym and we are so high under the anointing that once it departs we are exhausted, lol. So you are doing the right thing just to chill out. lol
I know I think my body is used to it. My husband had to work two Sundays ago and he went to the Super Bowl party and all week and kept telling myself I can not wait until Sunday. No other day would work, it's just so peaceful.
