Connecting Women of God All Over The World

As a single young woman a few short years ago, I remember needing to get involved with SO many activities to "keep busy".
It kept my mind off of marriage (the thing I truly wanted), and guys in general...plus being busy had its many perks and benefits, like helping me to establish who I was.
I just wish I had kept busier...rather than daydreaming about my mystery man.

how about you?

Do you keep busy? What do you do to keep your mind from wandering?

Actually I'm not doing enough. I'm still trying to find a job and keep from being evicted. I'm trying to hang in there and not be discouraged. My dad moved in with me temporarily, so that's an adjustment. He's so use to having a wife that he subconciously expects me to wait on him. I cook more, fix his plate, wash his clothes, listen to his hopes and dreams, goals in life. It kind of makes me not so much in a hurry to get married because I'm not use to it. I feel like his wife. I want to do those things, but for my husband, not him. It's just been me and my son, so I could be a little more laid back. I keep the house clean more, not that it was dirty, but I'm more aware of it. My son isn't use to another man being in house, even if it is just his grandfather. I'm like, what are you going to do when I do get married? How can I be busy doing other things, keeping my mind off of a desired husband, when I'm actually playing that role right now minus the intimacy?
