The Lord told me that no matter what I go through- this week, next week, next month...He is ALWAYS there, walking right along beside me.
And He told me something major.
"You take care of My business, I'll take care of yours."
To that I say, "YES, LORD!" With all joy and patience, tears of joy and relief streaming down my face, I whole-heartedly respond to Him "YES". "To whom else shall I turn?"
He has been so good to me.
If I take care of His business, He is surely seeing about mine.…

Something happened to me this week in my business which was a true disappointment to me.
Due to some unforeseen events I ended up losing out on a lucrative opportunity which I had been working on diligently for over a month-- and if we want to be really honest- for at least five years total.
I was heartbroken.
I have given up so much in the past few years to be home in order to raise my child - all my choice (and my husband's). My goal was that within five years I would replace my income with…

I am a mom/wife with a blended family.
Unless you've learned how to have a blended family throughout your entire life this process is not going to be easy.
What do you need to do?
1. Talk to each other; the new husband the new wife. As corny as it sounds, you have to talk; sit down, write things down, plan out your life: TOGETHER.
This conversation, especially when children are involved should not be one sided. This should be an intimate conversation of minds that love one another and…

Hello to all................Often times when things happen in our lives we tend to go and seek counsel for the matter. Many times we get so desperate and want some type of answer for what we are dealing with that we will seek anyone for answers. In matters of relationship issues with our spouse we will speak with someone who's been married and divorced at least five times. In situations where we may be having financial issues we will seek out and speak with someone who has filed for bankruptcy t…

Matthew 8:23-27 (New King James Version)
Wind and Wave Obey Jesus
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked th…

There were moments in my life when I didn’t feel that I could possibly start a business. The timing wasn’t right, I didn’t have enough experience, I was too young…my excuses went on and on.
Finally, one day I felt a twinge of excitement as I discovered that one of my hobbies of making homemade soaps could actually turn into a somewhat profitable business. I leapt forward into the world of business, learning the ins and outs of beginning my very first home-based business start up- keeping up wit…

With the aftermath of 9-11, many of our nation’s women and men, teens, and young children have suffered from severe PSTD (post traumatic stress syndrome). It is noted that alcohol consumption, tobacco consumption, and promiscuity, have all increased in the recent months following the attack on the Twin Towers- especially in the areas near and surrounding Manhattan. Suicide rates also increased as a result of the depression many people experienced in losing loved ones and enduring the horrific cr…

Okay, this article is a bit late. Summer has past and autumn is already upon us. But I just wanted to share this with you (it was written this summer for the
CLC Mag). The part about vacationing I think is still applicable no matter the season. God wants us to rest.
Enjoy the article!

Yet another summer-related vacation article. Hopefully you may still find it relevant this fall. Enjoy!

I’ve spent a good deal of my summer trying to figure out what to do with myself , my husband, and my two little girls- age 1 and 7.
What to do, what to do.
Well…I knew I had birth…

I'm so, so sick and tired of hearing Christains complain about being "sick and tired"
Is there anyone out there that can feel me?
In 1992, I was sick and tired of being "sick and tired"! That's why I decided along time ago to commit to get fit! Now I know…
